1967 VW Beetle Show Car

Well over $40,000.00 invested in the restoration of this car.

With over $12,000.00 spent on the engine and the drivetrain, plus $8,000.00 spent on the interior, this baby is taken to a whole new level indeed!

Classic Cali look with the turquoise paintwork and the polished alloys.

Super clean in and out.

The Porsche Alloys are simply gorgeous!

Hella H4 headlights.

Chromed wipers

         Immaculately clean nooks and crannies.

Pop out rear quarter windows

Excllent paint and bodywork and very nice panel fit.

Euro style amber topped taillights

Bumper brackets and hardware all chrome plated, back sides of the bumper are color matched to the body.

Remember the $12,000.00 spent on the engine and drivetrain? This is it!!!

The fan shroud is all carbon fiber and the fan is real Porsche 930 stuff.

Runs extremely strong.
When first assembled it was actually a little too strong with about 225 horsepower!
A cam change and some other tuning brought it down to aropund 185hp which is still blistering fast for a car this light.

A-1 custom Sidewinder exhaust with 1 5/8 inch tubing.

Really means business back here. Check out underneath too. Not your average Beatle, is it?

Transmission with a full performance gearbox.

Now for the $8,000.00 interior.

Polished billet door sills.

The seats are beautifully done with great stsitch pattern and design.
Full race lap belts add a nice touch as well.

Awesome street rod steering wheel. Check out the billet aluminum dash knobs and all those VDO guages.

Gene Berg locking shifter, chromes pedals, check out the custom carpet set up and how the vinyl centers
match up with the vinyl on the front…slick work!

That’s all for now. What do you think of its US$30,000.00  or close to a cool Php 1.2M price tag? Amazing eh? As for me I’m thinking of doing my own restoration right now. What ja think, huh?
