How Much is the Replacement?
Some people can replace the bulbs of their cars but special tools may be required to open the casing. The brake light bulb replacement price for cars range from Php 200 to Php 350 as labor charge. Note that some car models have a sealed enclosure for the brake lights which could make it difficult to open.
Bulb Price List
For car brake light bulbs, the price starts from Php 150 for double contact type. We initially bought a bulb from a known car accessory shop in Quezon City and the cost is Php 200 per bulb. Regular auto supply stores may offer a lower price.
Warranty for the Bulb
Shops do not offer warranty for the bulb itself considered to be consumable. However, they have a 7-day replacement policy if the bulb burns out after purchase. Simply bring the receipt of your purchase.
